Talking to hundreds of Sunni worshippers in a prayer room in Tehran on Wednesday night, Nov. 25, 2014, Khateeb and Friday Imam of Sunnis said, \u201cWe live in a strange world that is the world of materialism. Many of the blessings of Allah we use them day and night are among the material things. The Almighty has created all of them for the ease of us; we can take benefits of them to fulfil our needs of life in order to carry out our responsibilities regarding Him. We have not been created for the sake of material things, worldly posts and positions or serving wife and children.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The rector of Darululoom Zahedan termed \u2018recognition of the Lord\u2019 the main object of mankind\u2019s creation and said, \u201cAllah Almighty has created us for a great purpose; we must know Him well and have a true faith in Allah. He has created us to good morals and correct attitudes. He wants us to love Him and imitate His directions.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Alluding to the spiritual blessings of Allah, he said that every Muslim must strive to get spiritual advancements. Getting knowledge only on the material life without any divine knowledge cannot make a person successful. Such people are mean and despicable. The beloved prophet, peace be upon him, has cursed \u2018the slaves of Dinar and Dirham\u2019 who only think how to earn more and gain any post. People who get bribery and defalcation are the slaves of money. A true servant of Allah never becomes fond of the world and money despite enjoying wealth and money.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said, \u201cWhen a servant knows Allah, worships Him and gets His pleasure, he becomes perfect and prosperous. All prophets attained a great status before Allah by worshipping Him. The prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him, got a special position among the prophets as different nations and religions affiliate themselves with him. It was just because he submitted in front of Allah completely.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He said more, \u201cAllah the Sublime has bestowed us a Shari\u2019ah that makes us \u2018Awliya\u2019 of the Almighty if we follow its directions. Unfortunately we seek water in the sea. It is regrettable we do not use the great blessings of the Qur\u2019an and Sunnah. We should follow the footprints of the Companions who got divine devotion and sincerity.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid further said today\u2019s Muslims have been worried and they have been facing troubles due to negligence. They do not imitate the brilliant teachings of Islam; thus we see they kill each other next to their enemies. Instead of following the Noble Qur\u2019an and Sunnah, we follow the footprints of strangers and our egos. Muslims show laziness regarding the biggest obligation, prayers.<\/span><\/p>\n

The chairman of the Coordination Council of the Sunni Seminaries in Sistan-Baluchistan further said, \u201cUnfortunately, today\u2019s Muslims face deadlock in all fields even they cannot sit together to talk with each other and negotiate. If we return towards Islam and Allah, He will resolve our all problems. We must try to get His satisfaction.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The outstanding Islamic scholar pointed out to the plots of the enemies for misguiding Muslims and said, \u201cThe enemies of Islam spend millions of dollars to mislead Muslims and get them involved in sins and crudities. There are dozens of satellite TV channels which strive to spread moral inelegance and nudity in Muslim societies. They bear heavy expenses just to break families down. Even they propagate for homosexuality that is a stain for humanity. They have invaded Muslim societies by their cultural brigades to uproot Islamic civilization and culture.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called on the audience to be offer five-time prayers and learn the Noble Qur\u2019an and its meanings and teachings.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
