Alluding to the critical situation of the world, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid advised the people of the world to follow the instructions of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah.<\/p>\n
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid of Zahedan, Iran encouraged the worshippers on his Friday speech of June 19, 2020 for more supplication and prayers in facing such a critical situation.<\/p>\n
He insisted on the necessity of “repenting” and “respecting Allah’s rights and the rights of the people” and believed that the people of the world should start a new life to be saved from divine punishments such the COVID 19.<\/p>\n
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “I read an analysis by an expert on outbreak of COVID 19. The author had written that the world could not find a solution for COVID 19 and Islam as the last religion had also not yet been able to find any cure for this disease”.<\/p>\n
While criticizing such a view, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid pointed out: “There is a cure for all diseases in the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah. The way to get rid of COVID 19 and other infections and pests, is to return to the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and Hadiths of the Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH.”<\/p>\n
“To rescue from COVID 19 and other infections, mankind should stop sins such as idolatry, worship of the Cross, oppression, corruption, adultery, immodesty, drinking alcohol, injustice and etc.”, Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan said.<\/p>\n
He continued: “If the people of the world stop committing sins and violating Allah’s rights and the rights of people, Allah will remove all diseases and calamities”.<\/p>\n
He said: “It is Allah the Almighty who brings diseases and pests and removes them”.
\n“Why does the world not pay attention to the messages of the Qur’an and the messages of the last messenger? Why don’t people see the facts and tell the truth? Why don’t the intellectuals forbid the people from oppression and corruption?” the outstanding scholar of Sunnis in Iran questioned.<\/p>\n
President of Darululoom said: “The message of Islam to the world is that when they face any calamity, they should return to Allah and cry and supplicate.”<\/p>\n
“The way to get rid of all pests and diseases is to bring a huge change in your lives, seek refuge in Allah and to resort to prayer and supplication, and return to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah”, Imam of the Grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan said.<\/p>\n
He added: “Unfortunately, some want to get rid of such diseases only by taking apparent means while if they refer to the Islamic teachings, they will find the cure and the right solution.”<\/p>\n
He pointed out: “In these critical circumstances, we should adhere to the prayers more than before, pray, give charity and offer supererogatory prayers.”<\/p>\n
While emphasizing on observing health protocols, such as “using face masks” and “observing social distance”, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on the necessity of following the Qur’anic guidance and the directions of the Holy Prophet Mohammad PBUH.<\/p>\n
At the end of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid expressed his sorrow over the death of a number of some influential public figures in recent days in Sistan-Baluchistan province, terming their deaths as a “great loss” to the society.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
