{"id":179,"date":"2013-09-02T15:30:04","date_gmt":"2013-09-02T12:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/wp3\/2013\/09\/02\/speech-inaugural-meeting\/"},"modified":"2013-09-02T15:30:04","modified_gmt":"2013-09-02T12:00:04","slug":"speech-inaugural-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abdolhamid.net\/english\/2013\/09\/179\/","title":{"rendered":"Purity in Deeds like Soul in Body"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/stories\/news\/tafsir-malana.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" align=\"right\" \/>Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, rector of Darululoom Zahedan, the largest Sunni seminary in Iran, shed light on the importance of purity in good deeds in the inaugural gathering on the verge of the new academic year (1434-35 H.Q) inside Darululoom Zahedan, Iran.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Explicating the first Hadith of the great Hadith book, Sahih al-Bukhari, he declared \u2018purity in deeds\u2019 like soul in the body today morning, Sep. 02, 2013, in the presence of the teachers and students of Darululoom Zahedan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">He said, \u201cImam Bukhari, may Allah have mercy on him, mentioned the Hadith of \u2018intention\u2019 at the beginning to show the great importance of purity in deeds. Good deeds cannot be accepted unless the intention is correct; Allah accepts only the deeds which are for the sake of Him purely.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The teacher of Sahih al-Bukhari in Darululoom Zahedan further said some scholars stated \u2018purity\u2019 or<em> Ikhlas<\/em> is one-third of the religion. Deeds are like body and the soul of this body is purity. Do not forget, when we talk about acceptance of deeds, it means good deeds. If somebody carries out any sin claiming that his intention is good, it cannot be accepted; even some scholars say it is \u2018<em>kufr<\/em>\u2019!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cApart from carrying out the deeds purely for Allah Almighty, we must spend our lives according to the teachings of the Qur\u2019an and Sunnah; otherwise any, apparently, good deed that is contrary to the noble Qur\u2019an and Sunnah is refused. Great deeds such as migration, Jihad and seeking knowledge are refused if they are for any purpose but the pleasure of Allah.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The chairman of the Coordination Council for Sunni Seminaries in Sistan-Baluchistan addressed teachers and students of Islamic schools, saying, \u201cUlama and students should be examples for the society in moral and purity of the intention. A student of university is much better than a student of the seminaries who gets knowledge for any worldly goal.
