In his latest Friday sermon, reasoning to some Qur\u2019anic verse, he mentioned \u2018piety\u2019, \u2018recourse to deeds\u2019, and \u2018struggle\u2019 three factors of humankind\u2019s prosperity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fear Allah and seek approach unto Him and strive hard in His way, that haply ye may fare well<\/em>.)<\/span><\/p>\n

Expressing his views on the topic, he said, \u201cAllah Almighty has mentioned three vital points regarding prosperity of mankind; the first one is \u2018fearing Allah\u2019 that makes all human beings successful and prosperous. Piety, or Taqwa<\/em>, means to avoid all sorts of sins and to not violate the rights of anyone. It is impossible for any person to get prosperity without leaving misdeeds and violating others\u2019 rights.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe second point that has been stressed in the above-recited verse is about \u2018recourse\u2019 to Allah. The great interpreters of the noble Qur\u2019an state unanimously that \u2018waseelah<\/em>\u2019 in the verse means \u2018good deeds\u2019 such as offering prayers, observing fast, paying Zakah, performing pilgrimage, reciting the noble Qur\u2019an and the rest of worships. So every Muslim must carry out what can attract the pleasure of the Almighty and His blessings. All good deeds including obligated worships and giving donations to needy people can be utilized as recourse.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Alluding to the third tool for getting prosperity, the rector of Darululoom Zahedan said Jihad and struggle in the path of Allah can make understand the arrogant and ignorant people what they cannot understand by the soft words. Jihad brings such people to the table of negotiation. Islam is the religion of peace, dialogue and logic; it teaches the use of the force only for oppressive, occupying and aggressive powers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Explaining the word \u2018struggle\u2019 (Mojahada<\/em>), Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said, \u201cMojahada<\/em> means to strive in the way of Allah; when somebody recites the noble Qur\u2019an or offers prayers, and Satan wants to tempt, the man should fight with the temptation worshipping Allah with full concentration. All good services such as \u2018preaching Islamic directions\u2019, \u2018teaching Islam\u2019, \u2018helping people\u2019 and \u2018implementing justice\u2019 come in the list of struggles that make people prosperous.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Previous Governments didn\u2019t Execute Justice<\/span><\/strong>
In the second part of his speech, Khateeb of Sunnis criticized the previous Iranian governments over failure to remove ethnic, religious and regional discriminations in public services and distribution of posts. He called on the new government to employ citizens impartially.<\/span><\/p>\n

He underlined, \u201cThe Week of Government is an opportunity to examine \u2018achievements and \u2018fiascos\u2019 of governments. Every authority can be successful if it focuses on these two factors. Constructive and meaningful criticism is one of the best methods to resolve problems; censure must be sincere.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Alluding to developmental services of the previous governments in Iran, the prominent Iranian Sunni scholar said, “Most of the previous governments provided developmental projects and services to all regions indiscriminately. It is a good point and we have no any big complaint in this field; although there are some reports but we do not see any need to announce them here.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The most considerable ground that has been neglected is the social justice and impartiality in the sector of public services. Regrettably, the previous governments did not take any serious step to behave with all Iranian sects, ethnic communities and religious sides impartially. Justice was one of the Revolution’s ambitions; we hope the newly elected government would eliminate discriminations from all fields in the country, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n

The member of the International Union for Muslim Scholars invited the rulers to provide jobs on the basis of the citizens’ capabilities. The new government’s motto is ‘sobriety’ and equality. It can bring its words into action; then people will applaud them as they are grateful citizens, particularly in the province of Sistan-Baluchistan. By implementation of justice and equality the security of the country will be strengthened.<\/span><\/p>\n

The issue of new Mosalla for Zahedan’s Sunnis<\/span><\/strong>
At the end of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid pointed out to the matter of new Mosalla of Sunnis in Zahedan, southeastern Iran, and stated all responsible sides of the Sunni community have been following the case. <\/span><\/p>\n

He said, “We hope the authorities would allot the ground that we want quickly; in Sha Allah, we will offer Eid al-Adha prayers in the new place.”<\/span><\/p>\n
