Talking to thousands of worshipers in Zahedan, Iran, he termed \u201cwealth\u201d and \u201cchildren\u201d two main reasons behind negligence.<\/p>\n
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid inspired Muslims to avoid illicit earnings and encouraged them to choose legal ways to earn their living.<\/p>\n
The Friday prayer Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan insisted on the necessity of Halal income and said that the failure of a person is not to lose his\\her property but the failure is to ignore Allah\u2019s commands.<\/p>\n
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid pointed out to two main causes of negligence and said: \u201cAllah warns Muslims to be careful not to neglect Him through wealth and children; He says in the Holy Qur\u2019an: \u201cO you who believe! Let not your wealth, or your children, divert you from the remembrance of Allah; and whoever does that, these are the losers<\/em>\u201d. Surah Munafiqun: verse 9.\u201d<\/p>\n Khateeb of the Grand Makki Mosque said that ignorance from Allah\u2019s command through love of wealth has some signs including the act of refusing Zakat and paying debts.<\/p>\n \u201cToo much love with children and properties causes negligence and makes a person to choose illegal ways to earn money,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said that Allah is dissatisfied with the person who earns through unlawful ways.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is not bankruptcy to lose wealth and money or to lose a political or a social position, but bankruptcy is to ignore Allah\u2019s commands. Negligence is the real defeat and bankruptcy\u201d, the Iranian Sunnis leader said.<\/p>\n He urged that Muslims should satisfy Allah and said: \u201cThe one who dies in a condition of disobedience to Lord, without repentance, he has suffered from imminence and irreparable loses.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt is the time for everyone to return to Lord and to repent before the death because repentance after death has no result\u201d, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said.
