Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said in his speech of Sep. 20, 2019 that \u201cscience\u201d is the prerequisite of human life and urged on seeking both Islamic and modern sciences to get advancement in the both worlds.<\/p>\n
The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid reported his Friday sermon presented in Zahedan which was begun by recitation of the noble Qur\u2019anic verse: \u201c\u0647\u064e\u0644\u0652 \u064a\u064e\u0633\u0652\u062a\u064e\u0648\u0650\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0630\u064a\u0646\u064e \u064a\u064e\u0639\u0652\u0644\u064e\u0645\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e \u0648\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0630\u064a\u0646\u064e \u0644\u0627 \u064a\u064e\u0639\u0652\u0644\u064e\u0645\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e \u0625\u0650\u0646\u0651\u064e\u0645\u0627 \u064a\u064e\u062a\u064e\u0630\u064e\u06a9\u0651\u064e\u0631\u064f \u0623\u064f\u0648\u0644\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0623\u064e\u0644\u0652\u0628\u0627\u0628\u0650; Ask them: \u201cAre those who know equal to those who do not know?\u201d Only those endowed with understanding take heed.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n He said: \u201cScience is the need of human life. It was the first thing which was bestowed to Adam by the Almighty. For showing superiority of Adam on angels and jinns, Allah Almighty organized a test and asked the functions of different things; it is knowledge of world\u2019s management and development and angels had no knowledge about it. Adam had the potential and capacity, so he learned and expressed the functions instantly.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhen the competence of Adam was verified and cleared for the angels, Allah ordered them to bow to Adam. This prostration was a tribute and salutation to Adam and the position of humanity and knowledge,\u201d Shaikh added more.<\/p>\n He divided science into two classes and said: \u201cIt is necessary for the caliph of Allah on the earth to be equipped with science. Allah Almighty bestowed Adam, peace be upon him, two great sciences of \u201ctheology\u201d and \u201contology\u201d. First Adam learned the science of things and ontology as it is necessary for the mortal life of world. Then, when his repentance was accepted, Allah equipped him with the science of prophecy and theology.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAll inventions and discoveries of mankind are the results of the science which was bestowed to Adam and his off-spring by the Almighty. As well as, the subjects which have been teaching in universities are the fruits of that divine science,\u201d president of Darululoom Zahedan underlined.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cIt is necessary to get Islamic education and the science of Shari\u2019ah in order to defeat Satan and the self. Without this science we cannot purify our souls and control the self. Showing negligence in this regard is equal to downfall and regret.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cStudents of Islamic seminaries and madrassahs<\/em> should not be convinced with and confined to traditional religious sciences; rather they should seek modern sciences as the students of universities need to learn the Qur\u2019an and Hadith and Islamic knowledge as much as they need. Islam and modern sciences complete each other,\u201d Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said.<\/p>\n Parents should plan for children\u2019s education<\/strong> \u201cScience is the best tool in the hands of nations to hold their destiny and future. If our children are equipped with education, they can participate in their future and society will need their abilities and qualities. So the atmosphere of home should be educational and full of knowledge and guidance,\u201d he added more.<\/p>\n Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called on parents and guardians of families to send school-age children to schools not to markets and places of work.<\/p>\n At the end of his speech, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid pointed out to his latest trip to the Republic of Tatarstan and said: \u201cPraise be to Allah, people of Tatarstan seek knowledge and science. They respect intellectuals and Ulama.
