Worldly travels are limited; one day these travelers would return home. But there is an everlasting journey without return. We live in this world as travelers; no one is here for ever. Allah the Almighty addresses His last messenger, Muhammad, peace & blessings be upon him: «وَمَا جَعَلْنَا لِبَشَرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ الْخُلْدَ أَفَإِن مِّتَّ فَهُمُ الْخَالِدُونَ» [انبیاء: 34], (We did not assign immortality to any human (even) before you. So, if you die, will they live for ever?).”

The rector of Darululoom Zahedan added more saying there is no any option for mankind but to travel toward their last stop. All rulers, leaders, well off people and others will be traveling without any wealth, rank and position to the Hereafter. In that trip, people would face difficult times and hard passages. You have to meet check points on your ways to other cities probably, they even may check out your body; the check points of the permanent life are very more difficult. Grave, Limbo, Doomsday and the Straight Path are so dangerous crossings of the everlasting life. On the Day of Judgment every person would be questioned over his/her deeds and a single moment of life and how s/he had used the blessings of Allah.

After accountability, everyone has to be in the Paradise or the Fire! Paradise with its nice blessings is awaiting believers with good deeds and faith, while the Fire with its tiresome, painful and terrible punishments would be the house of people with misdeeds. The Qur’an warns about this journey, he further said.

Friday Imam of the Grand Makki Masjid urged on preparation for the trip of the endless life saying, “Accepting good deeds will be the only things which can save mankind on the Resurrection day. In that journey, Iman (faith), piety, morals and good deeds benefit humankind. Holy Prophet, peace & blessings be upon him, gathered his close relatives and family members and told them: «لا أغنی عنکم من الله شیئا», on the doomsday I can not do anything for you, i.e. rebuffing punishment; you must prepare yourselves and carry out your duties. Even the prophet, prayer be upon him, addressed his dear daughter Fatimah and said, Oh Fatimah! I can not rebuff divine punishment from you.”

‘We must not forget Allah the Exalted in any condition; whether we are in trip or in home. When you see the beauty of spring, do not neglect Allah’s remembrance. It does not suit any Muslim to neglect Allah by seeing any blessing of Him. Everything belongs to Allah; He is the owner of whatever we see and do not see. It is mere ignorance to forget Allah in happy times,’ Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah emphasized.

Addressing ‘travelers of Nowrouz’, Shaikh-ul-Islam said many of citizens enjoy their vacations of the new year and travel to other regions; they must offer prayers on time constantly. They should protect their eyes and ears from sins. Sisters must take care of Islamic veil. If somebody ridicules you over Hijab or establishment of prayers, do not pay any attention. We are proud of Islam and Islamic Shari’ah.’

At the end of his sermon, he underlined every traveler has any provision for his way; the best and most important provision of the Hereafter’s trip is faith, piety and good deeds.

Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah in Zahedan, Shaikh Abdol-Hameed Isma’eelzahi, considered travels of this world ‘limited’ and ‘temporary’ and the journey of the Hereafter ‘very long and eternal’ in his latest Friday sermon on March 22, 2013.

[7

post-138","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-speeches
["GET
