The eminent Islamic scholar and Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah in Zahedan, Shaikh Abdol-Hameed Ismaeelzahi, pointed today\u2019s\u2019 humankind suffer from depression and anxieties despite wondrous advancements in material life and modern technology. <\/p>\n
Talking to tens of thousands Sunni worshippers in Zahedan, he counted \u2018neglecting Islamic Shar\u2019ee commands\u2019 the main reason behind all worries and crises of mankind.<\/p>\n
Khateeb of Sunni Muslims began his Friday sermon of Feb. 22, 2013 by reading the noble Qur\u2019anic verse:\u00a0\u00a0 \u00ab\u0645\u064e\u0646\u0652 \u0639\u064e\u0645\u0650\u0644\u064e \u0635\u064e\u0627\u0644\u0650\u062d\u064b\u0627 \u0645\u0651\u0650\u0646 \u0630\u064e\u0643\u064e\u0631\u064d \u0623\u064e\u0648\u0652 \u0623\u064f\u0646\u062b\u064e\u0649 \u0648\u064e\u0647\u064f\u0648\u064e \u0645\u064f\u0624\u0652\u0645\u0650\u0646\u064c \u0641\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0646\u064f\u062d\u0652\u064a\u0650\u064a\u064e\u0646\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064f \u062d\u064e\u064a\u064e\u0627\u0629\u064b \u0637\u064e\u064a\u0651\u0650\u0628\u064e\u0629\u064b \u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0646\u064e\u062c\u0652\u0632\u0650\u064a\u064e\u0646\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u0623\u064e\u062c\u0652\u0631\u064e\u0647\u064f\u0645 \u0628\u0650\u0623\u064e\u062d\u0652\u0633\u064e\u0646\u0650 \u0645\u064e\u0627 \u0643\u064e\u0627\u0646\u064f\u0648\u0627\u0652 \u064a\u064e\u0639\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0644\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e\u00bb [\u0627\u0644\u0646\u062d\u0644: 97], (Whoever, male or female, has acted righteously, while being a believer, We shall certainly make him live a good life, and shall give such people their reward for the best of what they used to do.)<\/em> He underlined nowadays various sorts of anxieties and solicitudes have affected lives of people; there is no any society to be safe from such crises as human being is eager to have a peaceful society and a free-depression life.<\/p>\n The rector of Darululoom Zahedan, the largest seminary of the Sunni community in Iran, added more saying unfortunately Muslim societies suffer more than others. In past, despite lack of facilities people were enjoying a better life with peace of mind. Nowadays, human being has got lots of developments in modern technology and science. As well as there have been some advancements and achievements in Islamic sciences comparing to the past; despite all of these progresses, people complain of severe depression in Muslim and non-Muslim societies. Many organizations and foundations have been striving to overcome this problem around the globe, but they could not gain any achievement and overcome the phenomenon yet. <\/p>\n \u2018Depression and uneasiness start from families; there are differences between spouses, and children and parents. There are disputes among tribes, neighbors and masses and rulers. People complain that rulers deprive them from their civil rights, while rulers complain that masses violate laws and regulations,\u2019 he further said.<\/p>\n Mawlana Abdol-Hameed went on to say \u2018imitation of the Qur\u2019an and Sunnah\u2019 is the only remedy to get rid of such anxieties. If we analyze human society of today, we would conclude that people have been left the straight path; they do not care about the commands of Allah Almighty. As every machine needs a \u2018control room\u2019, human beings need this room as well; it is \u2018Islamic Shari\u2019ah\u2019 that works as control room of humanity. Human beings do not pay any attention to the orders of this control room. <\/p>\n Urging on \u2018absolute imitation of definite orders of the Qur\u2019an and Sunnah\u2019, Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah stated that there was not any option for Muslims to neglect clear and definite orders of the noble Qur\u2019an and Sunnah (path) of Holy Prophet. Such commands must be followed without any argument. Leaving Shari\u2019ah behind means to turn away of the path of the nature; it leads mankind to the divine punishment in the shape of flood, earthquake, dispute and hurricane. <\/p>\n It is very regrettable and baleful that humankind left Allah behind and went towards Satan. Different kinds of misdeeds including addiction, bribery, corruption, lie, betrayal, unveiling, immodesty, robbery, breach and defamation of others have been spread in society; that is why people feel uneasiness and anxiety, the outstanding Sunni leader added more. <\/p>\n He pointed more, \u201cAll parties, foundations and even the United Nations have failed to bring a balanced solution forward. The only option before human being is the path of the Qur\u2019an and Sunnah; clean and brilliant teachings of the Qur\u2019an and Sunnah lead mankind to the way of peace and a free-anxiety life. If people have an acceptable faith and imitate Allah\u2019s commands, they will get rid of all worries. Remembrance of Allah calms down the one who remembers Him with tongue and heart. It makes heart of true believers satisfying. <\/p>\n At the end of his sermon, Shaikh Abdol-Hameed alluded to an important issue saying that the current movements and changes of the region show Allah Almighty wants to awake Muslims and make them understand that returning to Him and the Sunnah (path)of His last messenger is the only way to be free of anxieties. This was the path of all previous prophets.
