The most influential Iranian Sunni leader alluded to the \u2018unanimous opinion of the Sunni community on moderation\u2019 in the 27th graduation ceremony of Darululoom Zahedan and urged on taking seriously the legal demands of the community.<\/p>\n
The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid\u2019s office reported his speech in the ceremony which was held on Thursday 12th April, 2018. More than two hundred thousand citizens from different provinces of Iran took part in the graduation ceremony; it has been the biggest annual gathering of the Sunni community.<\/p>\n
He pointed out to the status of the Sunni community in Iran among the nation and said: \u201cThe Iranian Sunni community has been respectable due to its role in maintaining unity and peace and active, vast and coherent presence in all areas. Most of the Iranians, Shias, consider Sunnis their brothers and respect them.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIranian Sunnis have denied supporting extremists; they have chosen the way of moderation. Today moderation is a unanimous opinion and stance for the Sunni community. They feel proud for this viewpoint,\u201d Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined.<\/p>\n
He added more: \u201cWe want a clear future for ourselves and our children. It is our demand from the officials to not discriminate among ethnic and religious communities in utilizing their capabilities. We want to see Sunnis in all ministries and departments.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have protected honor of the regime and our brothers. After 40 years the regime could not confided Sunnis; when this trust will be achieved? We are sure they entrust us; so our capable forces should be engaged in provincial and national levels,\u201d president of Darululoom Zahedan said.<\/p>\n
People are unsatisfied with the ruling government<\/strong> \u201cThere is no way but to bring a balance in public services and jobs; all ethnic and religious communities should have share in employments and posts. The officials should listen to the nation regardless to their thoughts and backgrounds,\u201d he added more.<\/p>\n \u201cWar on terror\u201d without \u201cjustice\u201d is impossible<\/strong> \u201cWar is not a solution to end crises. Dialogue, justice, paying attention to the rights of ethnic and religious communities and minorities and those who think their rights have been violated,\u201d he added more.<\/p>\n He also expressed his regret over neglecting the letter of the Supreme Leader on the rights of the Sunni community and removing discrimination.<\/p>\n Shaikh Abdol-Hamid further said: \u201cThe people of Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Afghanistan should resolve their crises by negotiation and establishing comprehensive governments. Bombardment, chemical attacks and assaults on graduation ceremonies cannot resolve any issue; rather it doubles pains and crises of nations.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhy Muslim leaders cannot sit together? The enemies have created distances among Muslim countries to ensure their interests. \nMawlana Abdol-Hamid went on to say more about the complaints of people from the government of Hassan Rouhani. He said: \u201cThe government should struggle more for the people; they are unsatisfied with its efforts yet. There are some weak ministers and directors in the government; it made people unhappy.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKhateeb of Sunnis urged on implementation of justice and said: \u201cWe call on all leaders of the world to implement justice. If the modern world wants to uproot terrorism and insecurity, they have to focus on dialogue and justice. Without justice, security cannot be implemented.\u201d<\/p>\n
